Burger King Hotline, or Burger for short, is a citizen of the HOI4 Modding Den serving as Moderator since April 2022, having previously served from November 2020 to August 2021 and November 2021 to January 2022.
Early Citizenship[edit | edit source]
Burger first became a Denizen in December 2018 where he would spend the next two years rising the ranks becoming a prominent citizen of the community. He made his first political move in June 2020 during the abdication of then-Head of the Den Miah. He campaigned unsuccessfully to succeed Miah as Head of the Den but lost to Greenbueller. Following his loss, he began a campaign under the "BurgerKingHotline for Moderator" label to be appointed moderator by the new Head of the Den, now titled Administrator. Backed by other community citizens, including Volksmarine, and after six months, Greenbueller would instate Burger as Moderator in November 2020.
Appointment as Moderator[edit | edit source]
Burger's first tenure as moderator would last until August 2021 when, following the conclusion of the Games of the First Modding Olympiad (Modlympics), he stepped down as moderator and left the community with Thomas Bricks, then Trial Moderator and later rival, succeeding him as Moderator. Burger became a citizen of the Den and was reinstated by Administrator Greenbueller as Moderator in November 2021 for a short tenure of just over a month before leaving the Den for a second time on 2022 New Years Day. His third, and current, tenure as Moderator began in April 2022 when he, again, became a Denizen and Moderator once again.
Chief Moderator Coup[edit | edit source]

Since the abdication of Miah, Burger has consistently expressed interest in becoming Den Administrator, the highest position within the community. On 31 December 2022, he launched a palace coup with him being temporarily enthroned as the Chief Moderator. During the coup, Burger promoted both Globus, then a Trial Moderator, and Hurts, then a civilian, to Moderator. Hurts would be fired an hour later while Globus has been Moderator since. His most notable action during the coup was to fire his rival Moderator Thomas Bricks. Bricks, now relegated to Former Moderator, began to plan a resistance movement before Greenbueller would put an end to the coup by restoring Bricks's moderatorship (the firing was deemed legaly void) and demoting Burger back down to Moderator. In the aftermath, Burger founded the Burger Patriots political coalition and began the ongoing government crisis.
