Operation Dragon refers to two connected planned Soviet military operations for a hypothetical invasion of China. Operation Dragon I, or simply Operation Dragon, refers to a joint Soviet-Mongolian invasion of China with the potential involvement of Korea. Operation Dragon II is an extension of the first plan which also involves surrounding Asian states, primarily India, Bangladesh and Vietnam on the Soviet side and Pakistan and [[Burma on the side of China.

The plan, drafted due to the ongoing Cold War, assumes a suprise offensive war against China by the Soviet Union as either a war mostly isolated to Asia or, especially with Dragon II, as part of a Third World War.
