Muller is a citizen of the HOI4 Modding Den serving as Moderator since October 2017. He is notable for his lack of activity.

Becoming Moderator[edit | edit source]

On 2 October 2017, Muller first became a citizen of the Den, arriving from the then parent community r/hoi4modding. As a Moderator of r/hoi4modding, he became ex officio Moderator of the Den. However, despite his government status, he hasn'communicated in the public of the Den since only three days after his initial appearance. He has also, according to the Moderators, never engaged in government activity or communicated through government channels such as admin-channel, the primary site of government. He was last seen communicating with others in r/hoi4modding, the initial parent community and later autonomous part of the Den, in November 2019. His policies in r/hoi4modding saw negative reactions due to alleged authoritarianism.

Sightings[edit | edit source]

According to the reports of multiple Denizens, he has sporadically been seen in public but these reports are unconfirmed and, even if true, he has seemingly never spoke with anyone in public.

Two Den Moderators have reported interactions. Burger King Hotline allegedly communicated with him twice in December 2021 and September 2022, recieving two supposed limited responses. Thomas Bricks also claims to have exchanged short greetings with him in July 2021. All three of these interactions are unconfirmed.

Muller Cult[edit | edit source]

Beginning 2021, an interest in the Moderator began to grow with a cult of personality being spawned around him, presumably without his input. This "Mullerite movement", championed initially by TZ, was influenced by the cult of personality surrounding fellow Moderator Glugenash (who termed themselves "Glugposters") later influenced the cult of personality of other Moderator Thomas Bricks. According to his critics, Bricks has used the mysterious auora surrounding Muller to his advantage in strengthening his cult of personality. Partially due to Bricks's alleged co-option of "Mullerism" and also due to natural growth and decline, the Mullerites have been decreasing in number.
